Hello, I am new to all of this, I am an Audio/Video technician and invented a new AV product, which I like, but of course everyone thinks their baby is cute, so I went out and found that neutral experts have also liked this, very much. I would like to see if the world likes it, and wants to benefit from it. Am I in the right group to meet individuals interested in investing in this? I have signed up for too many sites that just round about you in this maze, and you spend and spend, but you never meet any financiers.
    Thank You!

Well I think you'll understand from this group if crowd funding is a way to fun your project and I imagine you may meet some people who your can network with around your early stage venture. Sarah is also a lawyer who works with early stage companies looking for help so probably a good contact for you to make.

Michael, can you please ask Sarah to also speak about the proposed (I think it's still proposed) legislation that would allow non-participatory investors to fund films (or other projects) through websites like Kickstarter, IndieGoGo, etc. Thanks!
