Crystals and gems have long been considered the bones of Mother Earth, and some consider them the stained glass windows of the cathedral of the Earth. They are repositories of a vast wealth of information and energy, and make this information/energy available to us to use for the purposes of healing, reflection and even a better connection to higher consciousness. All types of stones, gems and crystals make up the structure of our Earth. As they grow and move in the various levels of the Earth energy they are being shaped by the conditions and experiences in which they are formed. In this group we will be exploring how crystals interact with our energy to balance our chakras, expand our awareness, and help us progress in ways that are beneficial to our body and mind. We will discuss how crystals can be a form of gentle, non-invasive remedy for physical and emotional ailments. Whether we consider ourselves newcomers or experienced healers, we will find ways to utilize these wonderful tools to help us deal with imbalance at a subtle level. Crystals can improve our energy, balance our attitudes and emotions, and work alongside other healing modalities to augment their effects. Although the utilization of crystals is not a replacement for medical treatment, they can be used to balance, adjust, and stimulate our own energy to heal ourselves. Bringing the body, mind, spirit, and emotions back into harmony allows us to move through life at an optimum level. The use of crystal energy has its roots in antiquity, but is especially important as we ascend to a higher vibration as one family in this vast universe. Each month we will concentrate on topics that pull together ideas and activities that will define an area in which crystals can be helpful to us. We will work on creating grids and sacred spaces within our homes to balance the energy of our living environment. We will discuss the ways crystals can work with our own energy to bring about positive changes in our outlook and the health of our body and mind. We will have the opportunity to understand how our energies meld and interact with others, and how we can avoid absorbing unnecessary negative energy. We will have opportunities to work together to send positive energy out into our world in a distant way and also to ourselves on an everyday basis to improve our own personal experiences. We will be able to travel locally and also at a distance to learn about, view, and bring home crystals found in their natural environment. I encourage all of you to participate in discussions and share with the group the information you have learned in other ways. We can all benefit ourselves and each other by learning how to bring these wonderful allies into our every day lives and experiences!
