Learn the fundamentals of Cuban Salsa

Hey amigos!

I hope you are having a great week!  I just wanted to pass along some info for those of you interested in learning Cuban-style Salsa/Casino.  I, along with members of my dance group, teach four progressive levels of Cuban Salsa Partnerwork, also known as Casino and Rueda de Casino - an interactive group dance where there are constant partner exchanges with fun patterns executed in unison.

For those of you that would like to give it a shot or further solidify what you already know, our Marchsession of Cuban Salsa classes begins this Tuesday March 6th, with all Levels starting new curriculum from scratch.

The first beginner class starts this coming Tuesday, March 6th, and follows a progressive syllabus for four weeks so you can keep track of the material for the best dance learning experience possible. Each 90-minute class of the four week series is taught by both a male and female instructor with over 12-years of training, teaching, performing, and traveling to Cuba to collaborate with the very best in the Salsa world.

Having a partner is not required as we constantly rotate during the class. This format gives you the opportunity to practice your steps with various partners and prepares you for the social dance scene in a safe and pressure-free environment. We suggest comfortable clothes and shoes with a leather or suede bottom. In order to provide you with optimal instruction, we strive to keep class numbers comfortable. To confirm your spot in the class, please respond to this email with your name, preferred email, and phone number.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at any time.

Thanks!
Abrazos,
Chris

Hey Alberto, in the beginning levels, we start on 1. We gradually introduce rhythm variation (contra-tiempo on2/Son and on3) in the more advanced levels as we dance to more dense Cuban music.
