New York, NYUSA
Hometown: San Francisco
December 18, 2011
I'm new to Manhattan and want to take in all its offerings.
I want to see/hear a symphony.
Not yet, but I've started looking at tickets.
From the Bowery Ballroom to the Met to Central Park.
You posted somewhere else you are interested in medical informatics; D-Wave already has an API for Python. The future will be interesting.
Just want to drop you a brief note to invite you to
join us this weekend for Our 4th Annual Labor Day
You'll have lots of fun, get a great workout and
meet interesting, easy-going and friendly members.
Here's the link to see who's coming and for all the details:
Joshua, hope to see you this weekend. :-)
The New York City Runners Group
Many have satiafied their Python craving by doing the exercise in Learn Python the Hard Way, which is also excellent. Some meet online, or meet Zed online and do the exercises with him and/or a group.
if this still doesn't help, let me know!
If this is too "core-y" for you, and you want to do mroe app development, feel free to find a space, and post an invite to the NYC Python Meetup list. The PSF will contribute up to $300 for dinner/beverages to any Python sprint effort.
I used to run an apprenticeship group on the side, but I no longer have the time.
Welcome Joshua! There is a Care Care 102 class you might be interested in that teaches belts, I'll see if we can arrange that after this first class. Look forward to meeting you soon!
