UPDATED (see below):
For those of us who are not braving the roads and airports for a 3-day getaway, we will be hosting a cookout.
We ask that everyone brings a dish to share. We will provide the hot dogs and the utensils.
Since this event is going to be at the park, feel free to bring kids or dogs to join in on the fun.
Now, let's all cross our fingers for great weather!
Update: The park entrance is located at Crogan Street and Scenic Highway (my GPS identified the location about 1/2 mile up the road, so be aware). Once you enter the park, follow the signs to the Playground/Rental Pavilions. We do not have a Pavilion rented, but there are 7 or 8 public grills around the Pavilions that we will hopefully be able to use. They are first come, first serve and there is no guarantee we will have access.
SO...if anyone has a portable grill, feel free to bring it along. Also, feel free to bring along any picnic/party games you would like.
Everyone is responsible for bringing their own drinks and a dish to share. Keep in mind, this is a Gwinnett County Park and alcoholic beverages are not allowed. If you choose to disobey that policy, you are doing it at your own risk.
Finally, feel free to invite friends. The more people we have joining us, the merrier.
When you arrive, please call/text me at[masked] to find the group.
