On occasion local weather conditions may require the trekking/desert route to be altered to ensure your safety.
In February, temperatures in the desert daytime can reach 25-28° C. The temperature drops quickly after sunset because the air is so dry and the heat escapes rapidly at night. Differences of as much as 20-25° C between day and night occur regularly, and overnight it can reach 5° C (close to zero in some periods of the year). So please bring adequate cloths – light cloths during the day and warm ones during the evening/night.
Please, also be aware that this trip requires travelling for many miles (around 650 miles) going through cities, town, villages, oasis, mountains, hills, sand desert and rock desert.
