Xtreme sports adventure

Tired of your usual routine? Ever feel the call of the wild? Well get ready to break out from the rat race and pit yourself in a duel against nature.

Join us for an extreme sports day with two hours of natural rock climbing, one hour abseiling, ninety minutes of wet and wild kayaking and an hour of archery, for just £67 (+£2.25 paypal charges) (Early bird price). That’s 56% of the usual £115.

Early Bird price of £67 is available until end of March. Between 1st April and 1 May it will be £75. On First of May the price will raise to £85. Book early to avoid disappointment!

We will only be able to go ahead if we have a minimum of 10 participants.

Arrival on site at 8.40 am

9am -  11am - Climbing
11.30am - 1pm - Kayaking
1:30 - 2:30pm Abseiling
3pm - 4:30pm Archery and Axes

Travelling there: As the trains time table seems to have changed, the best option would be sorting out the car pulls and sharing the petrol costs - which in fact will be much cheaper then the train tickets. The petrol should come up to £9.56 (according to google). I will be taking my car and driving down from Anerley. If anyone would like to join me (up to 4 people) I am happy to give you a lift. I could meet you in Crystal Palace. Please email me if you would like to come with me.

I will be leaving Crystal Place at 7:30 and my phone number is 07832297917.

Event:

Under expert supervision of the friendly instructors at 3xtreme, you’ll experience an action-packed day in the thrilling outdoors. What to take: All participants will need a change of clothes and footwear and a packed lunch will also be needed as there are no catering facilities on site.

3xtreme operates in all weather, so get ready to lock and load; this is an offer that’s not for the faint hearted!

3XTREME Pride themselves on their friendly staff and on their ability to help you get into the spirit of the day. They will give you all the encouragement you need to meet your goals and overcome your fears whether taking a step backwards over the edge of a 100ft drop or doing 50 kph with your backside inches from the ground they are there to let you know YOU CAN DO IT.

At 3XTREME they like where possible to video the clients adventures then edited them into a short film of the day. So you will always have those memories. And you can show off to your mates of course! They will post these films on their website and to face book or youtube. The video is optional and we will be able to opt out if you guys would rather not be filmed.

Hey guys, problem solved. :) So Hugh said he is happy to drive down to East Grinstead. If anyone would like a lift with him you would have to make your way to Putney. Please email him for details.
Otherwise you are welcome to join me in Crystal Palce at 7:30 and I will drive you there. If you don't contact either of us or are not at the meeting point (in front of the station) at 7:30 I will assume you have decided to drive yourself or found an alternative mode of transport.

Hi guys, It seems that the trains time table has changed and there is no train that gets there in time! It's a bummer as we took this train on a couple of occasions before, both in summer and winter - and it was always ok, getting us there just when needed. I checked at the time I planned the event as well (which was probably half a year ago though) and it seemd to be ok. Never mind, we need to have a plan B now. The best option would be sorting out the car pulls and sharing the petrol costs - which in fact will be much cheaper then the train tickets. The petrol should come up to 9.56 (according to google). I will be taking my car and driving down from Anerley. If anyone would like to join me (up to 4 people) I am happy to give you a lift. I could meet you either in Crystal Palace or pick you up from Croydon, whatever is more convenient. Please email me back if you would like to come with me.

We have 3 other drivers, where will you guys be leaving from and would you be able to give anyone a lift? If 4 people comes with me we would only need one more person to get a lift tomorrow. I will be leaving Crystal Place at 7:30 and my phone number is 07832297917. If you would like me to pick you up from Croydon we could meet there at 7:45, however I am not sure where it is ok to stop there, we would need to figure this out if anyone can not make it to CP. Thank you, Kat

On another note, there is some last advice for tomorrow: Please Bring Appropriate clothing for the weather conditions - we are likely to get wet when doing kayaking! So make sure you have things that you don't mind getting wet (including shoes) and nice dry warm clothes you can change into afterwards. Please also bring a drink and snacks and a full pack lunch - there is a small tuck shop which sells sweets and drinks, but this may not be open.

We will need to be there at 8.45am so we are ready to leave for the rocks at 9am.

Looks like the first train from Clapham tomorrow will 07.54 getting to East Grinstead 9.10. Train starts in Victoria at 07.47.
If you miss that next is over an hour later.
Suggest we stick to Kat's planned meeting time and use the extra time to grab a coffee :-) Hugh

Hi Kat. Looking forward to Sunday. I was looking at train times to see if I could meet you en route but I can't find the 7.45 Clapham J to E Grinstead train. The time table changes on Sunday to summer time. Not sure if the website hasn't been updated or not or if time you've got is from the winter time table. Marilyn
