The battle between customer success and marketing is relatively new to B2B organizations as the customer success department is a more recent development and these two groups typically had separate goals. Times have changed. Many marketing organizations are charged with marketing through the entire customer lifecycle and that’s when these two groups started to bump heads regularly. We'll cover how these two groups need each other and how they can work together to achieve amazing results.

Chad Horenfeldt loves customers and is passionate about the profession of customer success. He relies on his 13 plus years of experience helping companies of all sizes maximize technology to propel their business. At Influitive, Chad is the Director of Customer Operations and is charged with creating the best customer experience possible to increase customer advocacy that will ultimately lead to a constant stream of referrals.
Prior to Influitive, Chad spent 8+ years at Eloqua in customer success, eventually leading the customer success team. Much of his customer success journey is captured on his blog and he also founded the LinkedIn group Customer Success Managers in Action.
