A club to take advantage of two of the best things about Northeast Ohio- beautiful places to bike ride and great places for craft beer! We are a group of intermediate cyclists who welcome all skill levels (please pay attention to how the ride is rated, the type of ride, and distance involved). Events will mostly consist of a scenic, social ride through the area with the destination being a place to sample some good beer. For those interested in our group, but who may not know much about craft beer, we only ask that you are open to trying craft beers. We love to share our knowledge and help people explore new brews. During the winter we'll do more purely beercentric events, but have been known to do some rides too. Here is the rating system for the events we create and host. Please review to see what category you fall into (or what you are striving to become). We do wait at crucial route points to make sure no one gets left behind. Most events will fall under A-C. A Fast Pace (16 - 19 mph) An "A" ride is designed for the strong rider, who feels comfortable sharing the road with traffic, and can complete a century (100 miles) in under 8 hours. B Moderately Fast Paced (13 - 15 mph) A "B" ride is designed for competent riders, in good condition, who can handle most traffic conditions and can complete a 50 mile ride in under 5 hours. C Moderate Pace Longer Distance (10 - 12 mph) A "C" ride is designed for steady riders who may or may not feel comfortable riding in traffic, and wish to attempt rides in excess of 20 miles. The rider should be able to complete a 20 mile ride in about 2 hours. D Moderate Pace Shorter Distance (10 - 12 mph) A "D" ride is designed for steady riders who may not feel comfortable riding in traffic and do not wish to attempt rides in excess of 20 miles. The rider should be able to complete a 20 mile ride in about 2 hours. O Open Pace A Class "O" ride is one in which riders, including the Ride Leader, may ride at whatever pace they choose.
