The basic premise of this meetup is the same as a book club, only with a movie instead. We select a movie on DVD in advance, and we each watch the movie separately at our convenience. Then we get together to discuss it for an hour or so on the third Monday of each month.
C'ville Coffee is a nice space; food and drink is available, and the parking is good.
This month we'll discuss Brief Encounter (1945). Kim will open the discussion, and then we will all get to express our opinions, reactions, and ideas about the film.
"Meeting a stranger in a railway station, a woman is tempted to cheat on her husband." (imdb.com)

*Where Can I Find This Movie?:*
For a DVD copy, try local video stores, especially Sneak Reviews; online subscription sites such as Netflix and Blockbuster.com; the public library and the UVa library (if you are affiliated with UVa). It may also be available on streaming from services such as: Netflix, Amazon, Youtube, Hulu, etc. Let George know if none of these will work for you.
