The basic premise of this meetup is the same as a book club, only with a movie instead. We select a movie on DVD in advance, and we each watch the movie separately at our convenience. Then we get together to discuss it for an hour or so on the third Monday of each month.
C'ville Coffee is a nice space; there are food and drinks available, including hot dinner-style food, and the parking is good.
This month we'll discuss The Ledge (2011), a philosophical thriller starring Charles Hunnam, Terrence Howard, and Liv Tyler. Caroline will open the discussion, and then we will all get to express our opinions, reactions, and ideas about the film.
A police officer looks to talk down a young man lured by his lover's husband to the ledge of a high rise, where he has one hour to contemplate a fateful decision (imdb).

*Where Can I Find This Movie?:*
Try local video stores, e.g. Sneak Reviews; online rental sites such as Netflix and Blockbuster.com; streaming sites such as Netflix, Amazon, and YouTube; the public library and the UVa library (if you are affiliated with the UVa). Let George know if none of these will work for you.
