Here is the recipe for the Granola Bars

1 cup granola
1 cup old fashioned oats
1 cup chopped nuts (almonds)
½ cup all purpose flour
½ cup raisins or mixed dried fruit (craisins)-added diced apples (bake first so they are dried)
2 beaten egg
1/3 cup of honey
1/3 cup of cooking oil
¼ cup brown sugar
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
Use an 8/8/2 inch baking pan. Spray pan with non-stick cooking spray

In a large mixing bowl combine granola, oats, nuts, flour and raisins. Stir in egg, honey, oil brown sugar and cinnamon. Press evenly into the prepared pan. Bake at 325 degrees in oven for 35 -40 minutes or till lightly browned around the edges. Cool on a wire rack. Cut into bars.

Looks good! Should I go ahead and pick them up after our next ride? But wait, then they won't be warm will they? Ok, I'll just stop by as your taking them out of the oven!

@Pamela the granola bars smell so good while they're baking and they are hard to resist when they come out of the oven....next big group ride (Thanksgiving) I will bake and bring more.
