Claremont Night Ride

Cycling Connection is joining with the Psycho-Lists to support a fun evening bike ride on Monday and Thursday evenings.

This 23.5 mile ride rolls out at 6:30 pm with an average speed of 15 to 18 mph.

The ride is mostly flat with 1-2% inclines and declines along the route. Most roads traveled have only light vehicular traffic with the exception of Baseline Road at the beginning and ending of the ride. All roads have very generous shoulders. There is one climb of note - the climb up Mountain Ave. from Bonita Ave. to Baseline Rd. at the end of the ride. This is a 2% grade for 1.6 miles.

Helmets and lights are mandatory.

The rain isn't expected to return until after midnight. It looks like we'll have perfect conditions for tonight's ride.
