Lysterfield Ride

Meeting Point: MTB Carpark on the right hand side, just OUTSIDE the Main Gates at Lysterfield Lake Park, accessed via Horsewood Rd. At the Roundabout BEFORE entering through the main gates turn RIGHT. We'll meet at the information board. We will park here to ensure no cars are locked in as the Main Gates get closed at a certain time each night.

Join us for a ride around Lysterfield MTB Park.
ORCA Rating B2 - please refer to link below for rating details.

The Route: We will be riding a anti-clockwise circuit of about 16.5kms which shouldn't take more than 2 hours (including a few stops).

Type of Bike Required: MTB

Please Bring: warm clothes, water, snacks & a standard ride kit (spare tube, repair kit, etc). A water bottle should suffice; there is a toilet block half way to refill if needed.

Any issues; please feel free to contact me.

Hi Fabian, I just read your comment & The rock remark made me laugh.YOU are hilarious! If I could have helped unload your trailer & locked it in my car, perhaps you could have ridden with us. I didn't realise you had to bring it until we were through the second gate. You're right about helping others. I also keep a chain breaker, chain links with me & a 9 speed compatible rock. But luckily you had the right tools.
Hopefully I'll get to meet you again.

And thanks to Ian for organising the ride & orchestrating such perfect weather!
I have ridden alone for the last 3 months & thoroughly enjoyed riding with other mtn bikers.
    I'm pleasantly exhausted!
