Keith Van Inwegan (RABA member) is planning a ride on Sunday, July 14th with the intent of raising money for Jon Clark, the cyclist from NC who was seriously injured in the Cap2Cap. Suggested donation $25 (details below)
- Description: Please join your fellow RABA riders for a ride out in the flatlands of Charles City & New Kent Counties. The 39 mile ride will zig and zag around the scenic back roads of Charles City County. Both routes start at the historic Charles CityCourthouse, meanders up to Adkins Store, proceeds to Providence Forge, and then wanders back to Charles City. There will be store stops at Adkins Store and Providence Forge. After the ride join the group for lunch at Cul’s Courthouse Grill in Charles City.
Cuesheets will be sent out via email before the ride and paper copies will be available.

- Directions: Meet at the parking lot at Charles City Courthouse, 10780 Courthouse Road, Charles City, VA 23030. From Richmond take I-295 to Exit 22A and follow Route 5 East for approximately 19.5 miles to Charles City Courthouse; or take I-64 to Exit 214 (Providence Forge), turn right on Route 155 (Courthouse Road) and go south approximately 11.5 miles to Charles City Courthouse. From Williamsburg, take Route 5 to Charles City Courthouse, or take Route 60 West to Providence Forge, turn left at the traffic light onto Route 155 (Courthouse Road) and go south approximately 7.5 miles to Charles City Courthouse.

We are asking folks to go online before the ride and make a donation to the foundation set up to help Jon Clark with his expenses. The suggested donation is $25, or whatever amount you’d like. Donations can be made at http://www.grablifebythehandlebars.org/ If you are not computer savvy, Jan has offered to collect monies at the ride and donate for you. (although he prefers not to handle money).
