I'm going to run up to Bear Mountain tomorrow morning. Probably a 70-80ish mile ride. Anyone interested in joining?

I'll be out of town that weekend, but I'd encourage you to make the ride if you're feeling up to it. From Central Park, it should be around 100 miles to bear mountain.
Although I won't be there this is the route we took during the ride in November:
Hi Andrew, Hi Robert...I arrive Manhattan May 11 (late) and have Sunday the May 12 free. I wold like a long cycle to the country and a climb. My hotel is near Central Park. Any chance you guys want to cycle out to and up Bear Mt Sunday May 12? I cycle in the Pyrenees. I have not cycled in NY and dont know the way. Where would we meet? I need to rent a road bike and looked at Dannys Cycles upper east side. Thanks, James
We defeat the Bear, walk a mile over death road, ate nice sandwitches, survive 12 degre last climb thrown on us and finish smiling a 100 mile trip. What a nice ride Andrew. Thanks

I feel bad for slowing you down, but it was great to meet you. Hopefully we'll make the run again.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
