Hour Lesson & Dancing at the Rockin' Horse Barn

DANCIN' AT THE BARN. Have fun dancing on a big 4,000 square foot hardwood floor to a wide variety of music including Rock/Pop, Ballroom, Country, Swing, Latin, and Nightclub tunes. Arrive at 7 PM for a pre-dance lesson in which changes every month with RON BOLIN or another one of the dance instructors from the Barn.   Check the web site for the lesson (http://www.learn2dance4fun.com). Then dance from 8 to 11:30 PM to music by yours truly, RON BOLIN, THE DANCIN' DJ. Be sure to fill in a yellow door prize slip as you enter to be eligible for the hourly prize drawings. You're sure to meet lots of new people in the hourly mixers. Snacks and beverages are available in vending machines. It's a great place for alcohol-free fun for all ages 18 and over. If you attend the pre-dance lesson for $15 you can attend the dance for free. The “dance only” is $12. This event is held on 1st, 3rd, and 5th Saturdays. Rockin' Horse Dance Barn,[masked]th Ave SE, Renton. DIRECTIONS: From I-405, take Exit #5. Go east up Sunset about 3 miles. Turn right on 148th, left on 117th, and right on 150th.       Only if you have them. I've been doing country dancing for years and haven't bought a pair of dance boots yet.

    Do we really need cowboy shoes?? what type of dance lesson for the night? tks.

      No you don't need cowboy boots but you do need shoes that won't scratch the floor and that you don't wear in. The floor is very sensitive to water and water will ruin the surface but it is a beautiful dance floor!
