DACS Web Design SIG Meeting

  • Jul 15, 2014 · 7:00 PM
  • DACS Resource Center

Adding graphics and photos to your website will enhance the visual impact and design. But before uploading media it's important to prepare and optimize your files for web viewing. Image width/height in pixels, as well as file size should be considered to avoid long downloads, and badly prepped images can even affect your SEO rankings. We'll look at "best practices", using both pro software such as PhotoShop and/or free online image processing services. Once an image is ready to go, we'll demo how to insert images into WordPress pages or posts and look at the WordPress Media folder.
