Zikr led by Special Guest Sara Rain!

We are excited to welcome Saraswati Rain to Asheville! Please consider joining us for one or all of the four special dance events she will be leading the weekend of March 22nd, 2013.

On Saturday evening, as a special guest leader for Shemsuddin's regular 4th Saturday dance, Sara will lead us in the practice of Zikr or sacred remembrance.  We will be chanting sacred Arabic phrases, along with live music and simple repetitive movements, to facilitate a deepening into harmonious unity.

Sára Rain has been a spiritual leader and minister in Colorado since 1997, and is a Dance Mentor for the Dances of Universal Peace. Leading Sufi practices, community rituals, and sacred music circles, Sára weaves inter-cultural depth and a medley of instrumentation spanning many traditions and languages. She swims in the heart of the music!

All words, melodies, and movements will be taught for this dance. $10 requested love offering. Everyone is welcome and no one will be turned away for lack of funds!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
