An Evening with Samar Shool – Pixedust Studios (CG Supervisor/TD)

DC_SIGGRAPH invites you to another round of informal Q&A and project presentation with our very own Samar Shool.

Samar  will be talking about cgi work done multiple clients for television and film among them National Geographic and Discovery Channel networks.

Since its beginning in 1974 as a small group of specialists in a previously unknown discipline, ACM SIGGRAPH has evolved to become an international community of researchers, artists, developers, filmmakers, scientists, and business professionals who share an interest in computer graphics and interactive techniques.

The meeting will be held at the Remsen Building (400 Dulany Street) at the 1st floor conference room. We are located 2 blocks from the KING STREET METRO
station (BLUE/YELLOW Lines)

    What amazing work! It was great listening to Samar share his projects from his time at Pixeldust Studios. The medical animations of "Aliens Inside Us" were the most impressive to me, and listening to how he created the many aspects of these detailed 3D worlds was informing, exciting, and motivating.
