This group is a support group for parents and primary caregivers of children with ADHD, which meets on one Sunday evening a month in upper Northwest DC. The group supports parents like you through the sharing of experiences and resources, and by connecting you with others who understand the challenges of raising a child with learning and developmental differences and/or social issues. Topics of interest include sibling rivalry, managing mornings/evenings, homework, playmates … and more.
The new organizer is a certified coach passionate about partnering with families to find strategies to manage the symptoms of ADHD at home, in school and in life.
This group has been made private so that members can more freely discuss the joys and challenges of parenting children with ADHD.
