Titus Andronicus @ Black Cat

Don't know much about them, save that they are a popular NJ punk band named for the goriest, least literary of Shakespeare plays, but their YouTube's sound good so I'm giving it a shot. Tickets are $15, doors at 9:00 & the opening act is the So So Glos.

Rick figured this out already, but the Black Cat website had a big error--doors open at EIGHT, not 9 pm, which makes more sense for a Sunday show

With Jennifer unable to find a babysitter, it's us three: Rick, did you say the Indie group had this show on their calendar? Maybe we can join them at the show. I'll be by the doors at about 9, maybe can all have a drink before the show.

It'll likely be closer to 8:15 but I'll be in the Red Room with the xtra ticket I promised

I'll post more info on our meetup before the show but tickets still available & since Mark likes the So So Glos so much, here's a sample--I hear they often tour with Titus & they do sound good but earplugs are recommended for this one.

The backup band "The So So Glos" are worth the effort.

Just a reminder about this band--and if you missed the punk era, well, it's hot again (there's a big show up at MoMa in NYC) so here's another sample, a punk retrospective on the Civil War (well you didn't expect a band named after a Shakespeare play to write bubble gum, did you?)

I love this band. Smart, loud, raucous, talented. Unfortunately, I will be overseas when they are here, but everyone should snag tickets while you can and go see them.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
