GiraMondo Wine Adventures invites you to the Second Annual Summer Champagne and Other Bubbles Festival July 22, 2009, at the French Embassy! The festival is complete with tastings of 15+ champagnes and sparkling wines from around the world, classes to introduce you to the uniqueness of sparkling wines, buffet style appetizers, and more!

Don’t know the difference between Spumante and Prosecco, Cava and Champagne? Want to know the specificities of brut versus demi-sec, or blanc de noirs versus blanc de blancs? Then be one of the first to purchase tickets and early birds can reserve a spot in a 45 minute class taught by leading wine expert Laurent Guinand and champagne master Claude Thibault, with tastings of special wines only available in the seminar!

During the festival, taste champagne, other brut sparkling wines, rosé and sweet sparklers, and sparkling red at our wine stations while meeting fellow bubbly amateurs. It is a perfect evening to beat the summer heat, learn about and enjoy great sparkling wines, eat delicious food, and enjoy good company at the French Embassy.

The Summer Champagne and Other Bubbles Festival will take place from 6:30 pm to 9:00pm. During the festival, two champagne classes will take place but seats are limited.
