Introduction
I'm a general hacker. mostly 3d printing hacking, but I want to build a multicopter with my kids in the near future.
What's your experience working with drones? Beginners are welcome!
i've kept an eye on the community for the past few years. all my hacking money has gone into 3d printing, but I may transition to multicopters in the next few years
What kind of equipment do you own/operate (ArduCopter 3DR Hexacopter, Swinglet, Parot AR, etc...) You don't need to have your own equipment to join the group.

What events would you like to see this group have?
hack/help-me-fix events, and competitions. nothing to crazy on the competitions, just fixed waypoint runs, or max lift for copters. maybe a find the flag type mission in a large park where you have to photograph a flag/landmark from your drone. or maybe group mapping events where multiple people photograph the landscape for large composite photographs.
