Introduction
I'm a professional software engineer with a hobbyist interest in robotics (modern and vintage) and vintage computing. I've been considering building an Arducopter.
What's your experience working with drones? Beginners are welcome!
Very little. I'm an experienced RC airplane hobbyist and own a Parot, but have little experience with homebuilt drones.
What kind of equipment do you own/operate (ArduCopter 3DR Hexacopter, Swinglet, Parot AR, etc...) You don't need to have your own equipment to join the group.
Several RC airplanes, Parot, a few RC helicopters. I own a sizable collection of robotics hardware and sensors.
What events would you like to see this group have?
Meetups and fun-flys.
