Beginner. Read a lot on DIY drones though...

What kind of equipment do you own/operate (ArduCopter 3DR Hexacopter, Swinglet, Parot AR, etc...) You don't need to have your own equipment to join the group.

Own a regular RC plane, haven't flown it yet / found a good place to fly...
