Introduction

I've been involved in robotics for a couple of years now. I'm new to drones and look forward to seeing what people are doing with them.

What's your experience working with drones? Beginners are welcome!

Beginner with drones.

What kind of equipment do you own/operate (ArduCopter 3DR Hexacopter, Swinglet, Parot AR, etc...) You don't need to have your own equipment to join the group.

I don't have any drones. I have several regular robots.

What events would you like to see this group have?

Drone competitions.

You have definitely come to the right place then. :)

We have a couple of very talented AI programmers. In total the group has about 5-7 AI-ish projects in various stages of completion. Our main AI guru is in Argentina for 3 weeks - but don't let that stop you from coming by!

You should consider two actions:
1) signing up on the AI-specific mailing list: http://hacdc.org/mailman/listinfo/nar...
2) coming next monday @ 7:30, where we will be disscussing a new AI-controlled lighting project
