Green Spring Gardens - Alexandria VA

Next meetup is at Green Spring Gardens in Alexandria, VA
I have no idea what if anything will be in bloom at that time of year. We may end up photographing leaves and berries instead of flowers in October.

We'll meet in the parking lot at 7:30 AM. As you drive in the main drive, there is parking straight ahead - that's where we'll meet. I'll try to get there a little early and park where everyone can see my car - I drive a Red Prius.
We'll plan on photographing for about 2 hours - and then anyone who wants to can head to Starbucks for a cup of coffee and some comparing what we shot.

Renee - the building with the gift shop opens at 9. The park gates are open much earlier. I've been there as early as 6:30 and have never seen the gates closed. Looking forward to seeing you on Saturday

The garden is officially open at 9:30. The grounds are open from dawn until dusk. I just called and confirmed the dawn until dusk that is listed on the website

FredLots of variety in a small area. I got there one hour after the 7:30 a.m. meeting time but spent time with a new photographer and hopefully mentored a bit.

As I know by now, Japanese anemones are blooming. There are also some kinds of flowers but I don't know the names. My bad!
