Introduction
Hi! I recently moved to DC from Tokyo, Japan. My husband and I have been vegetarien for many years and my daily cooking has been very much influenced/inspired by Kushi Macrobiotic.
Tell me about yourself. and what you expect from joining this group.
After I met my husband who has been vegetarien for over 15 years, I realized how difficult for vegetarien to go out to eat in Japan, because the idea of 'being vegetarien' is not well known and most restaurants serve at least fish broth. As I tasted food from macrobiotic recipes, it was a BIG SURPRISE! It had rich flavor in simple taste. It'd be nice to meet people in DC area to share common interest!!!
