Re: [atheists-27] Atheist shoes vs Post Office

The US Postal service has an Office of the Inpector General.  There is a form that can be used to report on  Fraud, Theft and Misconduct.  I felt that this problem was certainly theft and misconduct.  The form can be found here:

I used it to post the following complaint:

The Religion News service reported on the fact that shoe shipped by a German atheist shoe company were on average delayed by 3 days in delivery if they were delivered with Atheist brand packing tape.  There was also a ten times higher probability that the packages with that packing tape were never delivered.  This study was large enough to indicate a significant level or wrongdoing throughout much of the US Postal service.  The origional study on the web is available here:

Perhaps if enough of us post similar complaints they will take action to end this nonsense.  Many of us are here to enjoy the company of other atheists.  However, some of us also want to change the wider society.  This is a small opportunity to do so.

The Post Office has been empirically shown to have obvious bigotry against atheist shoes.  Packages labelled as atheist arrive on average three days later and are nine times as likely to be not delivered at all.
