Any news on who should be playing which parts? Or, more specifically, should we bring specific parts with us, and if so which ones?

If you don't need us to bring music with, then I won't worry... Thanks!

Sorry, I didn't give that much thought. In the Finger pieces, the string players can cover the oboe parts and the wind players will cover the recorder parts. I think that we have the Bach hit pretty well - Cassie on Viola, Karin on Violin II, Jeff K. on Oboe/violin and I will do the recorder. For the Telemann, Jeff and I will cover the recorder parts, Karin can do Violin I and Cassie you can do either violin II or viola, which ever looks more interesting.

Oh, I will have copies for everyone. so unless you marked yours up with some essential information, don't bother. A couple of music stands will be essential, however.

Bad news: I may not be able to make it. If I can, I have to leave early. I have a gig at H St. NE later in the evening, but they want us to load gear in at 6 o'clock. We aren't on until 11 or so, so if anyone's interested please come check us out! http://www.facebook.com/events/249411561797711/

Andrew, sorry to hear that. Can we push it up to 3? Is Andrew Lee interested in subbing for you? Should we reschedule altogether?

Even if Andrew has to leave earlier, there is still another pianist coming. Don't fret! :P

I could be there early. I figure it's probably 30 min to H St, so I could comfortably stay a good hour at least. Either way, I'll do my best!

Let's just calm down, everyone. As Phil said, there were 2 keyboard players signed up. If Andrew C would feel better by not coming, I wouldn't have any problem with Andrew Lee coming in to back up Phil. I don't think that we should try to do a last minute time change, but if anyone wants to show up a bit early, we could sight read until the whole crew is here.

I'm very sorry, but I've come down with something this morning that isn't getting better -- I really don't think I should show up and share. Many apologies, and hope one of the standbys can replace me! I just really shouldn't get out of bed...

The snow over here is really coming down, I'm going to wait a few minutes to see if it lightens up, if it does I'll head over. If not, then I'll see you all next time.

Great group! Our host Jeff also had plenty of music for us to play, and the harpsichord was the star.
