May Day Festival and March

May Day Festival 2012
May 1st
3:30-6pm Festival at Malcolm X Park, (16th and Euclid NW)
6pm March to the White House

May Day is a time to come together to celebrate solidarity. Since the Haymarket Massacre in 1886 – the bombing of a peaceful workers’ rally for the 8-hour workday – it’s been recognized as the International Workers’ Day and is practiced throughout the world. Join us as we march in solidarity with workers everywhere.

DSA Members will be manning a table during the Festival Portion so stop by and say hi! We are also going to bring poster-board so you can make a sign before the march. Don't forget to wear your Pin!
