GET UP (Grassroots Economics Training for Understanding and Power)

The GET UP project works to arm activists and organizers with the knowledge, tools and skills to articulate an alternative economics that works for the 99% instead of the elites that dominate our society and politics.

Please review the attached brochure, but we will be having interactive training's on:

  • The economics of the 1%,
  • The origins of the current economic crisis
  • The job crisis.

we need you to be there because we would like to talk about how this applies to the District of Columbia.

When: Saturday November 10th Where: CWA Headquarters 501 3rd Street NW, Washington, DC 20001 (Judiciary Square Metro) Time: 1pm to 4pm

    To answer Sinanju's questions: I am waiting to hear back, and we will post information as we receive it. The building itself is hard to miss, and once you make it inside the building, there will either be signs or someone to direct you.
