Do you like to draw? Do you like to drink? Do you like to do both at the same time, while hanging out with similar folks? Much like the combination of chicken and waffles, drinking and drawing go down smooth, in a delicious combination that needs to be tried to be believed, and yet upon checking out the other meetup options, I quickly realized I'd be either the only one drawing or the only one drinking, neither of which isn't awkward. Ergo, I'm setting this up to see if other folks might be interested in hanging out, doodling, and appreciating the finer brews in life in a relaxed social setting. All skill levels are appreciated and encouraged- never really drawn before, but curious? All of your sketches are disembodied heads making goofy expressions? Professional artist? Let's mix it up. Similarly, if you actually don't like to drink, but want to hang out and draw with a bunch of strangers from the internet, at a bar? Come on down. Seriously, this is basically throwing a bunch of pens, paper, and pints together and seeing if friends and fun come out the other end. All events will be held in locations that are metro accessible, within DC, and hopefully not too crowded upon arrival.
