I had a great time. I played (and lost ~ sob) a new game and felt welcome by all. I'll go again.

What are people bringing (food-wise, not game-wise)? Can I bring soft drinks?

Drinks are always welcome. I plan to prepare a black bean soup. Everyone else is invited to post what they plan to contribute so we don't have everyone bringing hummus and veggies.

Will someone PLEASE tell me what kind of games y'all play?

This is a, "bring-your-own favourite -game" event so we play the games that people bring. Typically, we play Eurogames like Settlers Of Catan and Ticket To Ride, Card games like Flux or Guillotine, and intrigue/hidden character games like Shadow Hunters or Sabotage, tile games like Blockus. In the past we have even played Monopoly and Scrabble-type games like Bananagrams. If you have a game that you like to play, please bring it to our event, and we may be able to play it.

Thank you! I haven't played most of those but a friend just yesterday taught me how to play Fluxx. :) If I won't be slowing down play learning games, I'll try to make it.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
