Play Putt Putt @ National Building Museum

Putt Putt has returned to the National Building Museum. Let's go play after hours, and then grab some grub nearby.

Tickets are first-come first-serve, so I'd like to arrive on the early side to play through (both courses, if possible). If you need to come later, just let me know.

So how did it go? I wish I'd been able to make it, but I spent tonight doing party prep for Saturday. :( I hope someone crushed that %@)(*%^ halfpipe hole, if they had it again this year.

I can't believe that this is only a couple days away! I'm looking forward to seeing everyone. Will anyone be there around 4:30?

Thanks for the update, Heather! I was afraid I'd be hanging out with myself. And I'm not always fun.

I'm going to try to get there as close to 4:30 as I can. My plan is to leave work at 3:45.

That's fine, and if we know you are coming, we can try to get tickets for you.

I get off work at 5:00. So I can't make it.

You should do it anyway! It's a lot of fun, and chances are that a number of people won't be able to make an early tee-off anyway. I'm thinking that because the BBQ is right there, people will be hanging out and socializing.

I just checked the NBM calendar, and they'll still have the Hill Country barbecue going on that day. Realistically, we wouldn't have to leave to get something to eat at any point (it runs until 11 p.m.), which would help with the timing all around.

      Hill country BBQ?

Just looked it up - awesome!

I'll be there, but likely won't be able to make it until about 6. I'll try to get there closer to 5:30 though.

I bumped up the time. I'll try to get you a ticket.

Hi, Edee--That's hard to say; a lot of it depends on how late the group arrives, how long the line is, how long dinner takes, all that. I'd say that last year, I was there for probably two or three hours.

    June 20, 2013

    • Heather P.

      Definitely--if not earlier than that!

      June 20, 2013

    • Chris

Okay - I'll bump up the time.

    Where do we meet?

    June 20, 2013

    • Chris

In front of the National Building Museum

This sounds like fun! How long do you think the event will last? I need to know a time to reserve my pick up ride to go home.

Awesome event, Chris! Early arrival is definitely required. The line gets loooooooong if you're late.

I also remember the half-pipe hole being a complete (%*@#(^.
