Hi, everyone! May's GenX event is a game day at my house (details below). Note that this invite may be longer than the one in the newsletter because of space concerns.

It'd be great if you could RSVP at some point to let me know if you're coming. Last game day, we had about 40 people.

Our house is easy to find; there is some street parking available. If you're close to the Metro, we're 2.5 blocks from Potomac Avenue Metro.

See you soon!

Your DC GenX concierge,

Saturday, May 10, noon until whenever: GenX Game Day. Get your geek on! Bring any game(s) you'd like to play. Here's a partial list of what we've got at the house:

Cards Against Humanity; Lords of Waterdeep; 7 Wonders; Fluxx (many variants); The Resistance; Gloom and Cthulhu Gloom; Zombies (plus many supplements); Cthulhu Dice; Munchkin; Munchkin Cthulhu; Wiz War; Saboteur; Triominos; Armchair Cricket; Set; Rack-O; Bang!; We Didn't Playtest This at All/Either; Get Bit; Crappy Birthday; Settlers of Catan; Teams of Enemies; Apples to Apples; Trivial Pursuit (plus a couple of add-ons); Cribbage; Events, Feudal, Twixt, and 221B Baker Street, all of which are Avalon Hill games: In Pursuit; Finish Lines; and many, many decks of playing cards. We've also got an XBox/Kinect and a Wii, if people want to play those.

TL;DR: We've got a wide tolerance for games for grownups (see Cards Against Humanity).

We'll provide food and beverages, but feel free to bring something if you have special dietary requirements, really like a particular adult beverage (beer, wine, whatever), etc. Last game day went until almost midnight, so bring your 5-Hour Energy six pack. Also, for those with allergy issues, please note that we've got three friendly dogs onsite who already love you but who do shed a bit.

Croosh deets:[masked]th Street SE (corner of 13th and K Streets SE); Heather @[masked] (text preferred)/[masked]; noon until whenever.

Come early, stay late, just hang out and socialize. It's all geek.

Hi, all--So far, judging from the various RSVPs here and elsewhere, we're looking at 30ish in attendance.

      We're now up around 40 who've RSVP'd. A nice group for games!
