Welcome to the German Language Speakers & Learners Meetup Group for German Language Speakers or Learners in the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area!!
Events will be held throughout the Washington Metropolitan Area (WMA) with the focus on German Heritage, Food, Language and Culture.
An interesting, energetic and eclectic group! You do not have to know any Deutsche to join-just have an interest to learn, teach (kindly) and practice at our meetup events.
Bring your language book and instruction material with you at the meetup groups as we will be learning together.
We are solely a meetup group and not affiliated with an Embassy or any German Organizations.
Discussion topics vary, but all discussions are strictly ‘auf Deutsch’ (in German)! It is requested that you speak as much German as you can while you are at the meetup.

We are a group of people who want to practice their German language skills and are looking for mutual enrichment and other congenial ways to pass the time, enrich the soul, and make new friends in a friendly group environment.
You do not have to be strong in the German language to attend! All are welcome!
