I don't have a favorite because I read so much and so varied an amount that I am always enjoying. I recently read William Styron's Darkness Visible, an amazing essay on his wrestling with depression. The writing was so brilliant that the intensity rose from the page. It was thoughtful, personal, and analytical at the same time.
I am an eclectic reader who studied history and literature in school and would love to read classics again to consider as an adult. Wanted to go to St. John's so this is the next best thing
