I won't be able to make it this time, either, just found out my daughters have a college event I have to go to. I will plan on April 10th, looking forward.

Sorry guys. Would like too, but Friendship Heights is a haul for md and need to finish up some work. Have fun!

Sorry you couldn't make it. We had a good discussion and some ideas for future meetups including more hands-on work.

Geoff did a good job of maintaing an atmosphere conducive to discussion among people who were interested in hardware. More hands on time for making hardware would be great!

I love Indian food, and have fond memories of asking bartenders at Indian restaurants to come up with the spiciest cocktail they can imagine. (Hint: Don't do this in London unless you are brave!) I hope you don't mind though that I decided to go with Clyde's this time, just in case there is someone that does not feel like burning their taste buds off. :)

    Hi Everyone,

I booked a table at Clyde's of Chevy Chase. For those of you driving in, Clyde's is right next to an above-ground parking lot and garage, and they validate 2 hours of parking. Just ask for either "DC Hardware Startup" or for the reservation under my name "Barrows". I am looking forward to seeing everyone!

    Hello Everyone,
I looked through the people that RSVP'd "yes". So far it is six people from DC, one from Silver Spring, and two from Maryland further up the I-270 corridor. I was thinking we could meet at a bar or restaurant near Friendship Heights, e.g. on Wisconsin Ave at the DC/MD border. There is a metro stop (red line) right there, plus there are plenty of parking garages for people driving in. Restaurant choices include Indique Heights (Indian), Clydes (American), Maggiano's (Italian), and many more. Let me know what you think!

    Metro accessibility is highly appreciated!

It will depend on the location, but I'm game.
