Monitoring OpenShift Applications with AppDynamics

This session will focus on best practices for Application Performance Management (APM) in a PaaS environment.  We'll cover complexities, and strategies for running in either private or public Cloud, and take a look at the details of working with JBoss in RedHat's OpenShift environment.

Steve Sturtevant is a software and performance engineer with close to 15-years of experience in the industry.  He has held product management roles in the APM space, and most recently led performance engineering for PayPal's Middleware platforms.

Steve is currently on the Solutions Engineering team at AppDynamics. AppDynamics is the leading provider of application management for modern application architectures in both the cloud and the data center, delivering solutions for highly demanding distributed, dynamic, and agile environments.

Steve, excellent presentation. As a developer I'm more focused on application performance. The UX monitoring is something I hadn't really considered before.
