LIFE is a JOURNEY, not a DESTINATION, and it is NOT measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the PEOPLES, PLACES and AWESOME MOMENTS that take our breath away!! Be an AVID WORLD TRAVELER (not a TOURIST) - internationally and domestically - with an insightful GLOBAL view of the WORLD!!

We're a nonprofit PROFESSIONAL group of mature, respectful, active, friendly and responsible Avid World Travelers with diverse cultural/ethnic backgrounds, age ranges and professions, who simply share an incurable deep passion for world exploration!

Our membership is FREE; however, we take our members' "ACTIVE ATTENDANCE" requirement to heart as PROFESSIONALS would - http://www.meetup.com/DC-MD-VA-World-Travelers-Forums/abo.... We are NOT a "VIRTUAL" but a "FACE-TO-FACE" Meetup Group and only retain those "QUALITY" members among us!! A friendly reminder: When applying for our membership, please ensure that you complete your Profile Questionnaires as required. This requirement took effect as of late April 2009.
