Not the best time of year to start a group like this, I know. But I've enjoyed at least trying to grow an interesting mix of plants in my backyard - killing more than a few unfortunate ones along the way - and thought it would be nice to share experiences, ideas, tips with like-minded individuals.

If you've done something similar, are thinking about it, or just have a fondness for gardening and landscaping, we'd welcome having you on board. We can discuss yard features such as ponds, streams, retaining walls, etc. as well.
