I want to hike up Mt. Washington and ride down on my splitboard. Hoping to do it this season, but haven't started making plans yet.
I'm a solid snowboarder and can get down anything inbounds at both east-cast and west-coast resorts without too much trouble (though I snowplow at the tops of some of the black diamonds). I've done a tiny bit of sidecountry snowboarding, but nothing beyond that. Hoping to change that w/ the splitboard I bought in 10/2010.
I've been a weekly gym climber for about 8 years. I've done about 2 dozen outdoor day trips. Mostly top-roped, but I've done some sport leading and trad seconding. This season I started trad leading and did a one-day aid climbing course. I've also done about 10 days worth of guided top-roped ice climbing in New Hampshire spread across a half-dozen or so weekend trips.
Looking Glass rock in North Carolina. It was my first outdoor climbimg experience and I was the middle guy in a 5-person team doing a 4-pitch trad climb in near-freezing temperatures. Epic!
I'm a rock/ice/mountain climber raised in Florida. I've summitted Mt. Hood, Mt. Washington (in winter), and attempted Mt. Rainier.
