I've been involved in NLP for over 8 years and have co-authored over a dozen academic publications in peer-reviewed journals and research conference proceedings (mostly ACL-related venues). I have an MS and a half-finished PhD in computer science from the University of Delaware, both focusing on NLP. I also created CLAVIN, an open source software package for automatically geotagging and geoparsing unstructured text.
My interests include information extraction, knowledge representation, machine learning, natural language generation, geospatial analysis, and open source software development.
Yes, absolutely! My current work involves entity extraction & resolution, document recommendation systems, and cross-document named entity coreference resolution.
