Play Cyberpunk

Interested both in the old Talsorian system and the upgraded Interlock system, and wanted to put out feelers to see if anyone might be interested. Time and place are negotiable if the interest is there.

At least we tried to have our meet up. Huzzah was decent and I purchased a Doctor Who Yahtzee game.

After talking with Paul about the actual start time I don't think my schedule would be able to accomadate. I wish everyone the best of luck though.

Putting out feelers for a meet-n-greet on the 22nd of June at Huzzah Hobbies in Ashburn (also a coffee shop around the corner, Sakasa is the name, I think). I am generally free after 8pm or so, which only gives us an hour at Huzzah but maybe more at Sakasa (if it's still there).

I just started a Meetup called Old School Gaming, and while it is somewhat centered on D&D and retro clones, the overall focus is playing old school games like original WHFRPG, Runequest, Star Frontiers, D6 SW, Cyberpunk, etc. it's still real rough and as soon as I get things set feel free to drop by.

Wow, Star Frontiers, haven't heard that title in a long time. Depending on who's there Sat. I suppose both groups can talk (since there's a bit of crossover). Especially for Cyberpunk it's good to have folks come to some sort of consensus as to what sort of campaign the players want to keep the party from going in 4 different directions. D&D (as an example) has rather more clear "railroad tracks" guiding the players.

Let's do a meet-n-greet on Saturday the 22nd. I won't be available until 8pm but feel free to come earlier. We can stay until it closes.

I'd be looking to fridays and evenings as well, if that works for everyone. Also need a place...

No problem meeting there (I'm in Ashburn) - appreciate the lead as I never heard of them. The only issue is that they close at 9pm on Saturday.

      Either works for me.

You mind if I boost the signal to one of my friends? He was looking for a game as well.

Go for it, the more the merrier.

Helps to have a few extra people - with folks dropping out and the inconvient life thing getting in the way.

Frequency? Once a month, week, or ?

    June 2, 2013

    • Dave W.

that's mainly why I prefer a 2/month schedule. You can plan around those days and still keep RL going. :)

      2/month sounds good.

Once every two weeks would be a good goal to shoot for. This would keep it often enough to gain some continuity, but not so often as to be onerous for those of us who have a lot of real life interfering with our gaming : )

Interest is there....depends on when and where.

I'm really interested, and I've got a number of the books (for 2020 that is). It's been a few years but I've been playing and running itfor years - basically since 2020 first came out. Friday evenings and weekends would be the only open days.

I've never actually seen the card game (Netrunner, right?)

Fridays and weekends are good for me as well.

I have the Cyberpunk card game too.

I used to love this game. I think I still have the card game they put out as well.
