is looking for two talented, well-written candidates for their Communications Officer and Sr. Associate positions:Communications Officer
: will work on a daily basis with programmatic campaign staffs, and will assist and advise Pew Environmental Group campaigns on outreach to journalists, web content, and all aspects of public communication. A minimum of eight years

will assist the senior officer in charge of advertising efforts, in Pew?s Washington, D.C. office, helping to meet the communication needs of the organization?s advocacy campaigns. Duties will include direct involvement in message development, audience targeting, and creating and placing ads in print, on-line and broadcast media. While striving always for maximum persuasive impact, all Pew messaging is rigorously fact-based and requires adherence to a high standard of integrity. This position is pending Board approval in June 2010 and the anticipated start date will be on or after July 1, 2010. A minimum of four to eight years

: This position, based in Pew?s Washington, D.C., office, reports to the Project Manager, Communications, for Pre-K Now, a campaign housed in the Pew Center on the States. The Senior Associate for Communications promotes Pre-K Now, its spokespersons, and the issue of pre-kindergarten for all three- and four-year-old children in print, television, radio and electronic media. The position requires excellent communication and media relations skills, proven writing and editing skills. A minimum of 4 years
