Please bring several printed copies of your poem to hand out during the workshop—be prepared to share, and to discuss others' work! Also, feel free to bring copies of a poem you love—we'll start off this week's workshop by sharing some of our favorite poetry.
We'll be meeting at the MLK Library (901 G St. NW, in Chinatown), room A-10. Call my cell (203)[masked] if you need help finding us.
This is a weekly workshop group for anyone interested in getting some critical feedback on their work from others who read and write poetry. It's also a way to get poets and writers in the DC area together to meet and to share and discuss our influences and our own work. At each meeting members will share a poem and receive helpful comments so they can revise.
Please feel free to contact Bill Ehart, email@example.com, with questions or for more information.
