The DC Professional Digital Filmmakers group is designed to recruit a team of professional digital filmmakers with the goal of producing independent short films, now. Our members include Cinematographers, Writers, Actors, Audio Engineers, Lighting Gaffers, Grips, Audio Designers and other Digital Artists that want to join a team of serious filmmakers. If you have worked on a 48 HFP, I want to talk to you. If you have worked on the set of a short or feature, I want to see you. If you just completed a program in filmmaking come join us.
We will have 3 levels of participants: Professional, Journeymen and Novice. We will have 2-3 formal meetings a month for Pre-production, Production and Post-production. The rest of the time we will be making films.
