Written February 12, 2012: In addition to using a ZEO while experimenting with a combination of neurotransmitter supplementation and variation of environmental factors as they relate to sleep quality (specifically slow-wave or "deep sleep" as the ZEO calls it), my current project is "Hacking The Get Shredded Diet", where I have taken John Berardi's "Get Shredded Diet" and combined his principles with the Intermittent Fasting research of Martin Berkhan (www.leangains.com) and the thermogenic fat-loss protocols of Dave Asprey and Armi Legge (www.bulletproofexecutive.com) while using high-intensity short duration weight training 3 days per week. Data collection is underway with the idea being to lose 9 to 10 percent of body fat in the next 12 weeks (leaving me at roughly 3 percent or so) with really no net calorie restriction.
